You are not guaranteed an internship, but you are guaranteed interviews for internship opportunities with COMPETE Corporate Partners.

You will have access to all of the COMPETE program, with the exception that you are not guaranteed internship interviews. However, we expect to sign up additional company partners through June and will be pulling Foundation Program students into the COMPETE cohort accordingly.

These are 60-75 minute web seminars in skill areas identified by tech execs as important for 1-2 year college students to develop. Subject matter experts develop and lead the sessions.

If you are assigned a Mentor, you will spend 1-2 hours per month meeting with them. Their focus will be to help you understand the work environment that you are hoping to join with an entry-level tech job.

A majority of tech workers find jobs via their networks. The meetings with COMPETE Partner Companies in September and October are an important step to help you build your network to get visibility to good jobs…not just today, but in the future.
