Orchard Gardens students learn about DNA at Intellia Therapeutics

Intellia Therapeutics hosted 25 students from Orchard Gardens School in Roxbury today, showing students how HR helps the company build teams, creating social media posts, learning about biotech development processes, and extracting DNA from a banana. As the teacher shared: “The students were still so excited when we got back to school that you would have thought we took them to Six Flags…and two students showed up for school the next day in their lab coats and safety goggles!”
