COMPETE 25 Work Skills Seminars

Overview

In its pilot phase, the COMPETE program brought together a team of technology executives to assess the “hire-ability” of community college students for their entry-level tech jobs — jobs typically filled by candidates with Bachelor’s degrees. This assessment identified opportunities to strengthen soft skills and develop professional capital that, when combined with internship experience, would help community college students to more effectively compete for and succeed at entry-level tech roles.

COMPETE’s Work Skills Seminars are designed and delivered by technology and HR executives and subject matter experts covering key topics and soft skills. See detailed Seminar Descriptions here.
